Well...here are some more details. The area behind the main grandstands at Sonoma
Raceway is rarely used when there is an HPDE event on the race track. HOD will be conducting a HPDE on Saturday November 1 (go to www.hookedondriving.com for details on that) and the paddock will be sitting empty....so, HOD will have a huge car show for anyone who is interested in attending. Gates for the C&C will open about 8:30. Lots of stuff going on including raffles, discounts, giveaways, and more. The Raceway Café and Wine Country Motorsports shop will be open to browse. Around 10:00 for those that are interested there will be a short seminar on preparing to get on track...Then during the lunch period we will have a huge parade lap of all cars attending....You have seen races at Sonoma on TV and this is your chance to do a controlled lap or two on the track. This event is a perfect place to start drive up the Sonoma Valley.
Everyone that pre-registers on line will get a free raffle ticket for some terrific prizes including a complete K&N Performance Air Intake System...($500) value or a certificate from Race Ramps ($200).
The event is Free to attend....register now at www.surveymonkey.com/s/cars_n_Coffee_Sonoma. A huge Corvette turnout is expected. See you at the track November 1.

Melting Slicks
This is my favorite race track. This should be a fun event at a great location. This is also the last CRSG historic event of the season at Thunderhill. We are hoping to actually have our engine back so we can get in one last race before winter. If it is not ready I just might sign up for this one.
