Almost convinced I need a Supercharger
I have an 02 6sp with under 60K miles. I need some input from anybody that has had one installed. Looking for a good shop, approx. out the door pricing etc. I am at the top of the fence and need to be pushed over.

I sold my 02 about 5 years ago to a man in Redding and he put a supercharger on it. He loves it. I don't know the specifics but if you want to pm me your telephone number, i'll pass it on. I'm sure he will call you with all the info. He's good people and likes to talk about his s/c Vette.

I previously had a 2001 A4 'vert that I had TPS install an A&A setup on at around 90k miles. I drove it til it got hit and totaled at ~140k miles with no complaints. The guys at TPS (now "Borelli Motorsports") did a great job.

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown!!!
Had a Vortech V3-Si installed over a year ago by A&A and haven't regretted it once. Best bang for the buck, reliable, fun as heck, and doesn't affect mileage unless your foot is in it... Stock behavior until you decide to unleash the beast!
Highly recommend the centri blowers for Vettes - don't need any more than stock on the lower end, but pulls like a jet all the way to the top!

no matter what though do the supercharger! you wont' regret it. I'd get an ECS kit if it was me althought I believe A&A kit is smog legal?
I would not use either of the shops mentioned. I had bad experiences with both of them but it could have been one off with Synergy as they seem to have solid reputation and Rick seems like a great guy. Above 600whp the tuning becomes much more critical and a bad tuner can nuke your motor in one afternoon.
I think the best shop is Josh at JRG motorsports for installs and then I'm about to have my >800whp procharged C6 tuned by Matt Gower, who seems cool and helpful so far but i have no experience with his tuning yet but has a really good reputation so we will see. If it was me I'd have Josh do the install and Matt do the tuning which is actually what i'm doing with my new setup.
If you want Josh's contact info let me know and happy to pass it on.

A&A is smog legal... ECS isn't. One of the biggest factors in making my decision, although in hindsight it was a great decision regardless and I wouldn't do it any differently if I had it to do all over again.

If your looking for a kit give me a call and I can give you a smoking price on the kit. If your looking for someone to do the install I refer alot of my local customers to Valaya Racing and Rick at Synergy. Both companies are giving discounts on installs for TPS customers looking for install or tuning work. Rick (Synergy) and Ted (Valaya) both do a great job and will give you a fair price on the install. Since your in CA I would highly recommend getting a A&A kit over the ECS unless you don't care about being CARB or smog legal.
