Thunderhill - Friday May 1st
Hi Everyone;
I just signed up for a Trackmasters special event on Friday May 1st.
For those of you not going to the Corvette Corral this will be a great venue.
There are only 3 run groups and it a charity event for the Matt Axelson Foundation. Matt was one of the Special Opps force that did not survive as retold in the move "Lone Survivor".
The event is only $199 and includes a buffet lunch.

Hi Chuck
Despite the heat, it was a good track day. Lots of rookies, great team of instructors, including yourself, really helped them enjoy the day. It was great yakking with you and it's great to see that you can take it as well as dish it out!
Most of all, it was made even better knowing it was a charity event to benefit the Matthew Axelson Foundation; several first-time drivers came out to support them.
It was good to see a good showing from our Corvette drivers, several c6z's, one c5, and of course, your magnificent ZR1!
Give us a heads up on the next event!

It was good to meet you and your buddy Tim......I was your tablemate at lunch that day, Jim.
You'll find the new section of track very different from the existing 3 miles. It's much tighter in sections, and finding the right line was difficult with several turns way over 90 degrees.
I'll be curious to see what you think of it when you run it.......be sure to give us a report afterwards.
