American Auto-X Series
For those of you that missed it, we had an event last weekend at Crows Landing Air Station. This is the premier autocross site in northern California. Top of 2nd gear in a c5z, and man is it a blast. But don't worry, were having another event in 2 weeks on June 6-7.
Since some of you might want to see what AAS is like vs other clubs, these were what the courses were like this last weekend.
Saturday:
Sunday:
Hope some of you guys will come out and enjoy the next event.

There are actually quite a few fast drivers on here, but a lot of them do track days instead of auto x. I do both, but there is no comparison between how much MORE fun road course events are than auto x. I enjoy both, but if I had to pick one or the other, auto x would lose big time. I want to make it out to more AAS events, but holiday weekends are booked for us.

AAS is an awesome group of racers and the site at Crows Landing is huge, flat and totally safe. I honestly wish I could make their events, but this year every single one of them fell on a holiday weekend, track day weekend or our Corvette club's auto x weekend.

This was last Saturday's course:
This was last Sunday's course:
4th of July weekend will be our biggest event of the year, the Larry Park Memorial. There will be a commerative t-shirt for sale as well as Saturday night party at a El Rosal in Patterson. Buffet style with provided water and soda (adult beverages your on your own)
