The parade laps were cool and went well. The Maxwell luncheon is great fun - I have done it the past two years (along with the HOD event) and this is a don't miss event for sure!

I'm hoping I can work it out again this year, and look forward to seeing everyone again.

I think I'm going to bring my street car up and see how it does. I've always wondered how a C6Z feels at the track. I'll do my best to keep up! Curious to see how it does relative to the new C7Z's out there. My hunch is it will pull nearly as hard on the straights, but be more of a handful in the transitions and corners. Even on the street it seems to dart around on uneven roads or when shifting at WOT. I really love this LS7 engine though. Thing pulls hard all the way to redline.

Today was the drawing and we have two winners. Derek Abel picked one winner from the box of entries and I picked the other. All entries were shaken up and the winners were picked in front of witnesses, eyes closed and shaken again between picks.

I know it's a blast. We went a couple of years ago and after the event was over, the instructors took us out on the track in their Corvette's and wowed us. Doing 140+ down the straightaway was awesome. The lunch ain't bad either.
