I installed 2012 ZR1 exhaust manifolds, cats, and carted mid pipe onto my 2012 Grand Sport. The end of the mid pipe is touching the transmission. I need a muffler shop that can modify it and the Akropovic muffler pipes to fit around the transmission. Any recommendations would be appreciated

I'm in the Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area, but willing to make the drive if the shop is a good one!

I took my C6 to Mike last week for a similar problem with my exhaust hitting my tranny and he fixed it while I waited about an hour.

I totally forgot about King Muffler, he did my 70 GMC about 20 years ago and did excellent work back then. He's about half an hour away from me. I need to see if I can fit the Akropovic in the hatch area and bring it down there!

Could try minute muffler in dublin also. They made my straight pipe for me.

Dito's motors is a ways from you but they have exhaust fab capability there and do good work

Raja- I met you there! Scott at Minute Muffler got my Z06 exhaust and Akrapovic axle back mounted around my A6 transmission. He was very reasonable on price. He and his son both have very nice welding skills!

I actually had an appointment with Kings Muffler in Morgan Hill, but he called me last minute and told me he was too busy to take my appointment. I called Minute Muffler and Scott said that he had a cancellation and to come in. I'm glad that things happened they way they did. I'm really happy with the outcome!
