Corvettes at the California Maritime Academy - Fleet Week
An alumnus of the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo is organizing a display of Corvettes as part of the Maritime Academy's Festival 2015 on Saturday, October 10. The festival is held in conjunction with Fleet Week. He had hoped to have 35 to 50 Corvettes of all generations on display, but as of now, he only has 15. There is no admission charge, and it sounds like there are a number of fun events scheduled that day.
On Sunday, the academy's training ship will set sail to give passengers a unique view of Fleet Week events and the Blue Angels.
