Nov 7 2015 Corvette Syndicate Cruise to Big Sur then head to the Central Coast.
Nov 7 2015....Lets get this on the books now...The end of the year cruise to Big Sur. Well meet at the Flames coffee shop parking lot all the way in the back by the movie complex across from Santana Row in SJ (449 South Winchester Boulevard)at 745 and head out at about 8:15 am on the dot. . We will head to Big Sur for lunch and pictures. We will be going to Nepenthe for lunch,one of the best places to have lunch on the coast.

Ill also try and get us parking at the bottom of the hill again like we did the last time we all went...
They have a great selection of items for lunch... I love the french dip. But anything you get you cant go wrong...

For those that may be interested we are planning a second part to the Big Sur run.
After the lunch at Nepenthes those that are interested are welcome to come along for the second phase of the run. Those that are not can head back to San Jose and beyond.
Second phase of the trip will continue down hwy 1 to Morro Bay. We will spend the night in Morro bay and then head out early sunday morning for a very interesting ride back to the bay area through some very scenic back roads with a few historic stops along the way. The entire trip will put us back in the San Jose area some time around 3pm. Sunday afternoon.
Those interested in the second portion of the cruise please let us know so that we can plan accordingly.

If you want to come with the morro bay crowd then you will need to book your room no later than noon this fri the 23rd....the block of rooms will be released then...

I'll be putting up details for a meet at Starbucks in Brentwood for anyone coming from the far east, and we will caravan onward to hook up with those at the San Ramon meet spot.
We currently have 6 or 7 couples continuing on down to Morro Bay for the overnight, and would love to have some more forum members join us!

When I booked my room yesterday they still had a couple rooms left. They will release the hold on these rooms this Friday so I would book ASAP if you you plan to stay overnight.
Their non group rate is $239 but PTroxx (George) got us a rate of $159 so a pretty good savings.

What tom said is correct. There are still a few rooms left.
Call as talk to him he is the new owner he is aware of us and ant wait for us to arrive.
They will be blocking of enlighten parking for us again under the hotel.
They are releasing the rooms Friday at noon.

FYI. I have made dinner reservations at Dorns for 8pm. That gives us enough time to go over to Windows for a drink or 2.

One of our confirmed guests had to cancel so one room is available for a few days b4 they let it go and raise the rate.....

Hi everyone, Gala and I have to cancel our trip to Morro bay we really wanted to attend this cruise. We reserved the last room in the block of rooms reserved for the club. I called the hotel they told me that they would be happy to switch out the room at the discounted rate. If someone else wants the room they would have to call the same day I cancel so they can talk to the same person behind the desk. I have up to 4 days before the the trip to cancel. Hope someone wants the room it's at a great rate.
