Default Local Runs for our Club

We are looking for some interesting day and overnight runs for our club for next year. We are located in Sacramento County and we are a club of about 25 Vettes of all years. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, anybody know the date and start and stop point of the Rainbow Run?
Thanks

A day cruise to Ice House. There is a place to eat lunch when you get there.

I'm still new to the forums, but am interested in any runs that may come about. I'm not apart of any club but it sounds intriguing! I had spent this last weekend up in Bear Valley. While in Arnold, a group of at least a dozen or more Vettes went up the hill while I was stopped at Best Burger. I'm always open for a road trip, so if y'all have any openings for another driver, I own a 2013 and would love to follow in line! Hit me up! I live in Cordelia, so Sac ain't to far to meet up.

Which Arnold? Calaveras County or Mendocino?

Oh yes....its was Calaveras County. I own a cabin just shy of the Bear Valley Ski Lodge and had a beautiful drive there and back!

My wife and I also have 180 acres out in Mendo. Between the Boonville airport and the beach.

Then you must know about the north grove at Calaveras Big Trees SP north of Arnold. Fantastic stroll thru the Giants! Their parking lot could accommodate a number of Corvettes.

Oh man, I'm envious! Driven by it many times I suppose. The day I bought my vert in Napa I headed north past Boonville to the hiway 1 junction and turned south and drove 1 all the way to the GG. Helluva 'test' ride...

Why yes, as a matter of fact my wife and I had just hiked through those woods a few weeks ago and had just spent some time at the Golden Pines RV lot this last weekend. Ive been all around that whole mountain since the early 80's. So, I'll be more than happy to help fill the Parks lot and enjoy a great drive. There are some gorgeous spots to take in some views and get some great pictures up there! Bear Valley Ski Lodge is a great place to do an overnighter too!

If you like this drive you should roll with us (corvette syndicate) in April.
I orginize the biggest cruise every year nothing like 150 corvettes cruising together.

Rainbow run 2016. April 9th 2016.

We are also doing a big run to big sur and then headed to morro bay for the night. Always a fun time with the syndicate.

I seen the Big Sur post but have family over that weekend
I'll be interested in the Rainbow Run though! Sounds like a great time!

One of my favorite local runs starts from Roseville, heads up I80 to Auburn, catch Hwy 49 south to Cool, turn left to Georgetown and stop at Stumpy Meadows Reservoir. Then continue on down toward Hwy 50 stopping at Big Hill Lookout Tower. Then continue to Hwy 50 toward Placerville. We stop at Casa Ramos, off of Missouri Flat Road for an early diner. Then on home.

I'm a member of River City Corvettes. They say we're an eating and drinking club with a driving problem. We don't put on car shows, I don't even know if any members show their cars. We take trips, day trips or longer. Check out http://www.rivercitycorvettes.org
