Default Any CAMMED corvette owners available to show?

I'm very close to closing a deal for a custom cam stage 2 package by GPTuning. I'm going to follow through with it either way, but it would be cool see and feel what a cammed car is like first.

Is there anyone around willing to show me their cammed vette or take me for a ride along? I work odd hours and have weekday days off, so it's hard to make it out to weekend events. In the meantime, I'll look out for get togethers and people that know people. Thanks.

It is hard to compare cams since a different cam will make a car drive different. I had a fairly mild cam in my 2005 (228/232 @ 115) and I really like it. It idled close to stock but got me 50rwhp and still passes smog with no problem. A bigger cam would not feel the same so unless you find someone you has the exact same cam you plan on getting, you won’t be able to truly know what your car will be like. What are the specs on the custom cam stage 2?

23X/24X @ 115. It's not paid for yet and it's custom grind, so no exact specs yet and I can respect that. In the meantime, I'm just going to search for the closest set up to that and see what the reviews are on it. I explained what I wanted/needed, then asked him to base it off of that.

I ran a 238/244 on a 113 with a .612 Lift on a 403 CI in my last set up. I think it was a little to much cam for the Motor but anything over 2300 RPM and it was fine.

I have BTR stage 2 cam , headers and SLP loudmouth.
I can show you but im all the way in Walnut Creek

Come to Abel toys for Tots in December and you can see lots of cammed cars.

As for my cam, i love it, idles great, power is great from 2000 and up. Doesn't surge. Yes car is loud as hell with headers and SLP LM

Just the sound and shakes at idle is worth it for me

Have you dyno your car yet with the BTR 2 cam? I wonder how does that cam compare to the smog cam?

I'm hoping to test drive a '07Z with Synergy smog cam, Cai and tune on Monday. I'm gonna assume that's right in the middle of my current set up and where I plan to be after the stage 2 cam. Even though there's plenty of untapped power that's going to be left on the table, I hope to be content with the new found power.

I've got a (head and) cammed LS7 in a C5Z that I would be happy to take you for a ride in...but I'm a bit far from you in the far east bay.
