midyear C2 service in/near SF?
I'm a new owner of a 1965 convertible, brought down from Portland. Looking for a local shop with C2 expertise to help me keep it in top shape when/if anything goes wrong. Recommendations?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Flohmann - I grew up in the City and have a friend in Menlo Park that had quite a bit of work done over at Pat Hendrix shop too and was happy with the work.
Here's another couple names to throw out. These are from racer friends at Sears Point, I haven't used any of these shops myself.
Two places were recommended. The first is up in Burlingame off Rollins Road called West Coast Corvette, owner Gary Christiansen. (650) 344-6926 http://www.garyswestcoastcorvette.com/
The other recommended Corvette Shop is: North Star Corvettes, owner David Bonar, located at 190 Calderon Ave (at Villa St). (650) 969-3134 http://www.corvettesbynorthstar.com/

It may be a bit of a drive for you, but I highly recommend Kevin Ireland at
Corvette Connection in San Jose.

Just following up on this thread to say that I went to Pat Hendrix and Precision Motive in Hayward (accessible via BART+Uber from SF) and have been very pleased with the work he has done. Very thorough, deep knowledge of these cars.

One car show 4/24 is " A Legend on Display 36 Car Show " in Danville. It looks to be a Corvette only show and Danville is famous for Coffee and Cars every first Sunday. I may go or attend with my C2.
Also later this year... Been there a couple of times and it's very extreme NCRS or full mods.

It's unclear to me, are the tickets being sold on the website for admission to the show or to enter your car in the show?
Thanks,
-Doug

I got a flyer last time at the Corvette Swap meet in Livermore, this car show looks to be from NCCA (a member of WSCC). I'm not a member but the flyer said Non ($40) and WSCC ($35) fee for pre-registration to show your car. I''m guessing going to see the cars should be free. Not much information on the flyer, but I may take a drive to see the cars.
