Default Good tuners/installers in Northern Ca today

I would like to have a few options. I know several have listed shops in the area I have not heard of in the past. Im in Tracy and unfortunately don't have the time I hoped to do my A&A kit/Header install. What do we got.

Synergy
Newtech

If we cant post those that are not supporting vendors my bad please lock it

Teddy, Richie and Abel have a great tech.. Chad did my SC install and he did an awesome job.....After my install I took the car to Rick and he did the tune...
Abel can handle anything ,, And rick can Email Richie a tune to get you by for a bit till you take into him to get tuned......

Just an idea....

GP Tuning - Hayward
Synergy - Livermore
Starkweather Performance - Turlock
Abel - Rio Vista

Starkweather has the best price for tuning. I've made 509hp with just bolt on.

They are GM specialist for sure. Josh and Nate are good people. They work hard to earn your trust and business. Anybody who goes to them won't be disappointed.

Abel will install but they do not tune.

Richie sends his customers to Synergy.

Rick@Synergy is a LS guru.

Starkweather does installs/upgrades and tuning at the same time in their one stop shop with an in house dyno. These guys know the LS engines. They've done a Camaro ZL1 upgrade putting 1400hp to the ground. There was a Black ZR1 that ran at Coalinga 1/2 mile Shift Sector 2015 done by them which was pretty healthy. Josh has been around for a long time and worked for ADM Performance out of Lewisville, TX. These guys have a lot of pride in their workmanship and their work is at the top of the echelon.

Lowest price and makes the most power from their tunes is usually a recipe for disaster. I've been in the car modding world for a while and history shows that if one tuner is making more power from his tune and charges less than everyone else, you're likely to have an issue. I go for experience, proven record, conservative power and not the cheapest.

Starkweather performance is well known in the camaro community. Many of their customers are old customers of others tuners around northern Cali. They have nothing but great reviews.

Hey Teddy,

I had Matt (owner) GP Tuning tune my vette over a year ago and my vette is still roaring til this day. Matt is like a walking encyclopedia when it comes to tuning engines. Matt's ph 650-302-1574 or email address gptuning@gmail.com.

As far as I can tell Starkeather must be to busy to return phone calls or msg. on Facebook as I live 20 miles from them and have left 4 msg. and 2 on their door. Not one return call or msg. from them or not interested in tuning my car. I know a lot of people that want to go their but not until someone they trust gets work done by them. If you know these guys you might want to let them know.

Like I mentioned they truly are a complete facility for high quality work. Install it, tune it, then dyno it in the same shop. No need to run town for one guy to install it and have someone else finish the job. If something goes wrong then it's a blaming game of who screwed it up.

Hi Teddy, I bought a bumper cover from you a few years ago for my frc. My son AJ at perfomance in-frame tuning in Napa can do all your mods and tuning. He just finished a vortech supercharged c5 with a speed density tune and it runs great. Give him a call 707-226-2805. Good luck with your build.

My personal ZL1 is the car that has made 1278 rwhp. I hold the standing mile record for a ZL1 at 201.9 set in Texas at the Texas Mile. I also hold the ZL1 half mile record at 173.6 set at Shift Sector in Coalinga. The car has 4000 street miles on it also, my wife gets to drive it around town more than I do. It's a very reliable combo that I over built because I didn't want to have any problems. If my tune prices are the cheapest that is news to me, guess I should raise them, I'm kidding. Our resume speaks for itself, check us out on Facebook at Starkweather Performance or our website, our customers will speak for us also.
