Default Square 18 inch Mag wheel setup questions

Hello everyone, so i just purchased a set of N73 18 mag wheels, and they are in a like new state as of now. they are not currently mounted and my questions are..

1. What would be a good tire setup front and rear? i've read threads with people saying that its fine to run the same size tires on all four corners, but i've also read that traction control can go wonky if the tire setup doesn't have a taller tire in the rear?

2. who is recommended in the Santa Rosa-Marin county area that are really good with mounting mag wheels without damaging them? (I've read they can chip easily) i know this is more or less a gamble then anything but i'd like to go to the best.

Thanks all.

I use Americas tire by Coddingtown mall ... Ask to have the manager work on your wheels....

Also Rohnert Park just opened up a brand new Americas tire buy the hooters, so I would guess they have all the top of the line equipment now....

and again always ask for the manager and have him work on your wheels

Regarding tire sizes, are you looking for everyday driving or track / auto cross usage?

It would be a spirited everyday driving setup, but i wouldn't count out a track day/autocross session at some point either. I really would like to run a 275 square setup so i could rotate the tires but i've read that some people have issues with traction control/active handling (my car doesn't have A/H) so it seems like a gamble.

You are correct. Running the same size front and back will cause traction control to kick in at freeway speeds. When I ran this, I used competition mode which turns off traction control but retains active handling. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be an option in your case. You'll want to run a slightly taller tire in the rear.

Ive never had an issue running same size tires front and rear on my c5z.
