Monterey Historics Corvette Corral
I would like to ask a huge favor from those of you attending the Historics.
Since taking over the corral responsibilities from Mike Albov, I've found myself in the same position as he did when he handed me the baton, which is namely life catching up.
In order to continue the corral, we need a volunteer as an organizational point of contact. The good news is that the payment, individualized mailings, collecting the monies, and the dozen other details of the past corral have been done away with. Corral passes and paddock tickets will be handled directly through the track. Easy day!
Please let me know if you would like to add this job title to your resume. The pay sucks, but oh that view of the cars coming off Turn 5!
Alex.

Finally the car is ready to make it without issues and there is no Corvette Corral? Ugh Guess I just take the Subaru and leave the vintage car at home? / confused. Part of me thinks after the weak spectator turn out last year the best years are behind us for this event.
I guess if you have a corvette for this event you just park off road in the dirt and hope things turn out ok?

Ok at least you are making me laugh! This is improving already. I would think about being that guy since I saw fit to complain except my lodging is still uncertain and looking grim (of course it should have been done 8 months ago), and I don't entirely trust the car to make it on time. Hrm.

I have some great news. The "Corvette Corral" lives on at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion 2016. You can get your tickets now at Corvette Corral Tickets Link. Please note if you have already purchased tickets for the event, call the ticket office as your corral tickets need to be associated with the corral (831.242.8200).
PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS and spread the word at your clubs!

Thank you. I hope everyone including myself realizes we just went from having no corvette pass or place to park our car to being able to get one, basically if you buy a pass you owe this guy.
