Any good shops on the Peninsula?
Hey Guys,
I am looking for a good indy mechanic on the Peninsula. I am a aware of Rick @ Synergy and Josh @ JRG(?) in the East Bay. I will go to either of those shops for tuning & modding
I am hoping to find someone closer to Redwood City for basic trouble shooting of my Reduced Power due to codes p1515, 1220, 1518, 1516 etc. My car has been running good for years and has developed this throttle related problem lately.
I tried changing my TPS and the problem persists. I am tempted to buy a Throttle Actuator, but I dont want to throw more money and parts at this issue. I also have HP tuners, but I haven't messed with my tune in over 6 months, so I don't think its tune related.
TIA,
John

Call North Star Automotive in Mountain View. They are the only shop I have used since 2000.
