Front Plate Fix-It Ticket
After 30+ years of clean record my first ticket in life should be this.
Have you had any? Do you know what is the easiest way to dismiss it?
101 north before Rohnert Park.

Just rig up a front plate mount, go get it signed off, pay the $25 and move along. Not a big deal if it's just a fix it ticket. I've gotten dozens over the years back in the bay area.

Hell any law Enforcement can take care of you. Go to the damn airport and the Sherriff can sign it off. LOL If your willing to put the plate on. Do so go tot he local police department and have them sign off.

Since you are in Sunnyvale you can go to the PD office or any fire station. Just tell them you need a fix it ticket signed off. Someone will come out, inspect the vehicle, and sign it off. Luckily for you Sunnyvale DPS police/firefighters are all LEO's.

If you dont want that ugly plate ruining the look of your front bumper get the show and go (sto n go, something like that plate). Once u get the ticket cleared by going to the chp department (this takes a few minutes) then you can removed the plate but the brackets to put plate back on if needed will be hidden in your bumper. I did this when i had my mustang.

Rohnert park Pd is the same way. Police/fire. I like that. We have a good department.

I have found it best to go to the station house.
Leo's usually do not want to be approached while on regular duty.
Your local police can sign off on a Highway patrol issued ticket. This will most likely be easier.

Just stop by your local police station and ask one of the officers at the desk to review/sign-off. I found this much easier than trying to "catch" a LEO parker somewhere. Besides, you can drive your car and park it "before" have a LEO take a look at your car. My car is not stock of CARB legal, so I always get a little nervous around police

Any police station. Beware some jurisdictions will charge you $$$ in addition to the fine.
CHP was free before but don't know if that has changed since they love to tag Corvettes for that and tinted windows. Got me a few times already. Golden Gate Div. Contra Costa Co.

Got one up in Tahoe, jury rigged the front plate with Zip Ties, took it to the San Jose station. Cop came out and was saying multiple times, what clown would give a front plate ticket to a Corvette. He looked at it, and "My God that is ugly" signed it off and walked away. Took the car back to my shop cut the Zip ties and put the plate in the back cubby.

I took care of the ticket. One fantastic Sunnyvale LEO (Cop and Fireman) signed for me.
I will be driving with the ugly plate on. I am keeping an eye on coolant/oil/engine temperatures. If they go up I will get a less restrictive license plate bracket. C7's "aero" front plate bracket is huge and covers a large area of air intake...
