Default Who has an A8 c7z06?

If you or anyone you know has one I'd like to get a ride in it. I'd offer cash to compensate ($100) for your time.a few minutes is all I'm asking for. I have a 2017 A8 z07 on order and before my order gets picked up Id actually like to get a feel for what the a8 is capable of.

Go test drive one at the dealer right? Well 1st of all my dealer doesn't have an A8z06 and on top of that the A8 has a break in period of 600ish miles and shifts firm up/tighten up. So this is why I'm looking for someone who has actually put miles on there's so I can see what the A8 is fully capable of.

I test drove an A8 Camaro and in track mode, holy crap it was sluggish, was not impressed. However only had 40 miles and dealer asked me not to shift past 5k, which I totally understand. So I'm seeing if anyone on the forums is willing to help a fellow member out, or any suggestions, Thanks guys!

Here's my number where I can be reached at 925-808-8161, my names Loren. I live in the east bay (walnut creek) but will travel to you!

The C7 Z06 with the A8 is a potent combination that I was sold on when I watched Sub Floor and 383vett cutting 1.6x 60' times (if I remember correctly) at Sonoma last fall on the stock tires and then running into the high 10's in the quarter mile. The best 60' that my C6 A6 could do (with the stock converter and 2.56 gearing) was 1.80 seconds despite my 100 hp power advantage and MT drag radials.

As long as you promise not to put it into a ditch or anything else like that, I'll be home Sunday if you want to take mine for a drive.

I live in Brentwood and will PM you my phone number.

He let me drive it and it is a gentle beast. Shifts were smooth and fast. So fast it would be easy to get into trouble very quickly.

Go to Momentum Chevy in San Jose. Lots of A8 Z06s on their lot. They'll let you test drive. I drove both there, then bought the M7. Way more fun to manually shift gears in the Z06.
