where to get a wrap job in the east bay
Just picked up a used front ZO6 bumper for my '08. Came in yellow and I need black. Prior to installing, I would like to find a local shop to wrap this entirely in black instead of sanding and painting three layers (base coat, black and clear coat). Anyone know what I should expect to pay for a total wrap of this bumper? Any suggestions where I should go?

Painting is roughly 400-500 bucks

Hi Dirk - this is Ed (eddie09 in the forum - 09 cyber gray A4 with NPP); ran across your post below way back in 09-05-2011:
This is a great mod and doesn't cost much as compared to headers. Prior to doing this, my LS3 registered a dyno at the rear wheels of 392 hp while after the installation I got 415. My exhaust is the factory C6 NPP while everything else forward to the motor is from the C6 Z06: 3" mid-pipe "H"design, the cats are from the Z06 and the Z06 exhaust manifolds bolt right up to the engine. Fortunately, I was able to jack the car up in my garage and make this install over a weekend.
I bet you can pick all of this up on line for under $500. Plus here in California, this set up will pass smog while headers do not.
To be fair, I must say I also have a CAI to bring in more air up front. Finally, the exhaust results are a real pleasure. They really gurgle when I down shift. Producing a few more dBs; I got clocked at 98 decimels at Laguna Seca.
Just a couple of questions: was the initial 392 hp dyno with or without the CAI? just wanted to clarify if the hp gain to 415 dyno pull was because of the Z06 exhaust manifolds only or the manifolds + the CAI. if the gain is because of the Z06 exhaust manifold swap only, I'm seriously considering this mod.
ps: how hard was the swap? (I'm here near Sacramento) ... THANKS!
