We will be up there on the West track Sept, 1st, the 3 mile on Sept 2nd and the 5 mile Sept 17 and 18th.
The west track is a lot of fun, but the laps go by quick. There are a lot of small tricks on the west track that will reduce lap times as you get the hang of it. Have fun

One of the best days of the year is Friday Sept 2nd for Hooked On Driving's Derrics Day. It's for a good cause and there will be a lot going on.
Also, don't forget to sign up for the Hooked on Corvettes track day Thursday Oct 13th. All Corvettes all day.

HOD sounds awesome & I know the quality of cars is higher in this group but damn they're expensive. Then again racing is expensive.
I'm trying to race on a budget if such a thing exists

I have ran with a lot of different groups and they are by far the safest and most fun without the risk associated of the cheaper track day groups. After watching a couple POS Miatas nearly take out a new Corvette and leave significant damage behind at another event, I decided to run with HOD. We have way too much invested in our car to have it taken out by a $3,500 crap box with a 20 year old kid behind the wheel.

Unfortunately I was put in the point by group since this is my first car track day. I have over 10 under my belt when it comes to motorcycles. I hope point by isn't too slow :/. What group are you in? I haven't seen a new Z28 in person. Can't wait!

Solo group whatever that means. I haven't driven with NCRC yet so not sure how that works but they said if your skill is above the rest of the group they can make the decision to move you up on the spot.

It is a fun event and HOD is my favorite group to run with. Their D (open passing) group is full of fast cars and drivers with a lot of experience.

If I can eek my way through this day damage free I'm going to try HOD next.

I talked to them about the same thing as well. They said there also has to be room for you to move up which is understandable.
