Hooked On Corvettes, Sponsored By Abel Chevrolet Oct 13th
It's getting close to that time of year again... My favorite track day of the year is right around the corner. Thursday October 13th is this year's Hooked On Corvettes all Corvette track day. Abel Chevrolet has once again partnered up with HOD to bring our local Corvette owners an awesome day at the track. We will have technicians on hand, be offering hot laps in our cars and offering assistance with track set up.
Last year we had about 90 Corvettes registered and it was a perfect day. Let's try to beat that number this year. Abel Chevrolet will once again be raffling off 2 free (paid by Abel Chevrolet) entries to any HOD track day. Everyone that has work performed here at the dealership from August 29th through October 3rd will be entered in the raffle. Just mention it to one of the Service Adviser when you're here for work and they will drop your business card in the box.
First timers are more than welcomed and HOD will do a fantastic job getting you comfortable on track. Post up if you can make it or if you have any questions that I can help with.

HOD annual membership fee?
Thanks for the reminder Rich. Is there any way around the $74 HOD annual membership (with 1 HOD hat) charge on top of the track day cost? That seems a little steep for those of us that only want to attend this one track day per year.

Email HOD and ask if there is anyway around that if you're only running one day. I thought the team HOD membership was only $50, not $74.

Additional Info for this event....
Dan Miller from Amsoil has put up a great offer for our local Corvette community. We all know how good the product is and now there is a way for you to get a free bottle of their Performance Improver fuel additive, fuel injection cleaner or octane booster just for signing up as a preferred customer and purchasing some product. Aside from the free fuel product, being a preferred customer will allow you to purchase Amsoil for the same price as dealers, which will save you way more on your first order than the cost of the membership.
For every new Preferred Customer or Dealer that enrolls & purchases $100.00 of product (excluding tax & shipping) between now and Sept 30th, he/she will receive their choice of 1 bottle of Performance Improver (P.I.) Fuel Injector Cleaner, or Octane Boost to be given at the event. In addition, each new qualified PC/Dealer will be entered into a drawing for their choice of 1 case of either 5w/30 Signature Series or 15w/50 Dominator Racing Oil.
For more info, PM me and I can get you the form to sign up. There is a referral number required when you sign up.

I'm in! I signed up for both Thursday and Friday. It will be the first event for my Z06 this year as I have been paying too much attention to my other car. It will be good to get it on the track again as I am sure it has been itching to do so. See you all there.
