I purchased these items when I was considering using a 2.5" LS3 axle back exhaust on a ZR1/Z06 exhaust x-pipe/h-pipe car. Two 3" x 2.5" adapters, and two top grade clamps.

Yes, I would imagine somewhat. However, at the price to swap over to full 3' axle backs, not sure it would be money well spent...
