Friend looking to buy a C5 Coupe
I have a friend who is looking to buy a C5 Coupe with a automatic transmission. Plans on doing some drag racing with it.
Willing to pay up to $10,000 for the right car, prefer a car in Northern California if possible.
Contact me at. dragrace.announcer@gmail.com
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Jim McCombe

I just picked up a set of drag radials last week.
Now I just have to learn how to launch that ZR1. LOL

It will be good to see you once again...been way too long.
You will like the new rules that affects 2008 and newer cars unless it's a convertible.
No cage/roll bar needed all of the way down to a 10.00 flat ET
Only added thing safety wise is a current SFI approved jacket and a helmet and you are good to go for the Wednesday night stuff at Sonoma.
We have just 4 more Wednesdays left on the 2016 schedule
October 26
November 2
November 9
November 16
The season will come to a offical end on Sunday, November 27 (Thanksgiving holiday weekend) with a ET Bracket race.
If you can't make any of these races, watch them live on:
www.1320go.com/sonoma starting around 4 PM each Wednesday night
Also should mention, we have added a class for stick shift type of cars who no longer have to compete against the automatic transmission types.

Search is over, friend bought a 2001 C5 in Sacramento over the weekend.
From what I have seen and read from the happy new owner, it is a well maintained car with 75,000 miles on it.
