We're proud to sponsor the 2nd ever Private Laps open track event at Thunder Hill Race way on the 31st of this month!

Here are some pictures from our first even in August. Many cars showed up and had a great time!

Event is open to all drivers and cars! We'll be hosting a lunch for all event attendees and will be offering beverages.

Spacing is limited so sign up before we're all filled up.

For more information vist www.PrivateLaps.com or send us a PM.

Below are some pictures from the last

Thank you,
TEAM RTF

verts have OEM roll over protection so yes you don't need a roll bar.

the c7 as you can see was allowed to run runout a roll bar.

Where, in the windshield? The yellow C7 shown is not a convertible.

You'll need to contact Chevrolet I believe the car has to have some sort of roll over protection system.

Melvin Hoagland was kind enough to let us test our Corvette for a short time before the Monterey Historic races at his last event. I love the format of open track and no run groups. You can go out when you want, come back into the pits and make adjustments and go back out again. If we sell our race car and buy a new one I will definitely be planning on attending one of these events for testing. Great people and a great way to get plenty of seat time.

I remember how did your car run in the Historic race?

I wish I wasn't headed to Vegas or I would be there. Please keep posting these when available. I like open track days, especially when well driven race cars show up

Is a busy week for us also. 31st ThunderHill then straight to the opening day of SEMA.

We'll have another event in December at TH.

Engine ran strong and we had a lot of fun. They kept us in line for getting on pre grid for too long and the engine got hotter than normal. Started to cool down during the race but then I got into a battle with three GT350s and temp started climbing. Since we are trying to sell the car I pulled off with a couple of laps left, rather than take a chance and damaging the engine. If it doesn't sell I will be putting in my entry request for next years Historics.

This is a great track day event and if I do any track days next season it will probably be with this group.
