Is this the same CnC that used to be hosted on Treasure Island? Looks like a neat place to meet up but the weather looks unpredictable. Can't take the chance of my vette melting in the rain.

Being relatively new to the scene, how do these work? Just meet up with a group and head to the location? Do you need to sign up, or be a member of a specific organization? It looks like fun, just trying to figure out how to get started.

With corvette syndicate. You just meet up when you can. No membership required. If ya can make it great. If ya can't well see ya on the next run.

Extended forecast is calling for rain next weekend. And if it does rain I won't be coming.
Not that my car will melt. But I've been driving in the rain for the last 3 weeks that I'm just over it. I'm finally cleaning my car today after 3 weeks of rainy roads and I want it to stay clean a little while lol this time. So just a heads up.

It's my weekend to work graveyard shift at UCSF medical center so I will stop by and check it out sans Vette after work. I have never been to this one and I am interested to see what cars turn out in comparison to Blackhawk cars and coffee.

LOL I don't blame you. Most Vette owners don't like to bring out their corvettes when it's raining.

Mine z06 is 98% track car with plates, registration and insurance. It's not fun driving around on slicks in the rain. I have done it but the last time I was hit by a Honda.

Oh I don't have an issue driving in the rain as I've had to drive in the rain many times in the last 2 weeks going back and forth to LA the car was a mess and I finally got it somewhat clean.
But if I don't have to drive in it I won't. Lol. And this cnc isn't that dig a deal. Not like a toy run or a rainbow run that we had about 75 cars cruising in the rain last April.

Nice to see some Corvette Forum folks heading out there, I'm a noob in the scene and looks like you guys are meeting up right around the corner from me, be careful of those steep driveways at that parking lot. I'm probably going to meet up with my bud and drive over with him, but look forward to seeing you guys there. If I bring it out it's a stock silver C5Z. You guys going to try and get a Corvette section?

Not sure exactly where all of the women's marches are going on in SF, but that may be another thing to be thinking about besides weather....

Another reason why the Warriors should stay in Oakland.

And like we've said the cars don't melt in the rain. There just a pain some to clean. To some it's therapy to others it's just cleaning the car. And some just have a guy to clean their car. Lol. You know who you are. Lol.

See they don't melt.
This is a little run I do in April.

Traffic from the marches depending on where you are coming from.

From what the weather is saying, it won't be raining but it's 15 days and anything can happen if mother nature wants it to happen lol

Thanks
Hi all
