Unfortunately, I have to sell my vette. Currently it has American Racing Long Tubes on it. Is there any way for me to sell it in California leaving those on it (besides as-is to a dealership) ?

My thought is I would go back to stock, and then sell the long tubes separately...but if I could avoid the hassle, I might be for that.

That's a sweet looking car... As far as the headers go, unfortunately in California, the seller is technically responsible for a 'change of ownership smog', even if you live in a smog exempt county.
I'm not sure if the Varam is CARB compliant either - you may have to put the stock stuff back on - unless there's a 'CARB EO' sticker.
Or - you give the potential buyer the original parts, and have him take care of the smog (I've done that before too). Hope the helps.
You can sell the aftermarket stuff separately or with the car.
I'm sure plenty of people on the boards will jump at that stuff if you post it up on the forum.

Thanks for the response. I've gotten the Vararam past visual a few times...if you remove the big ugly sticker that it came with, it looks pretty close to stock. I guess I'll see.
