Recommend Paint Shop Modesto/Turlock Area?
I need some paint work on my Pewter 99 FRC. I need some scrapes on the rear bumper cover repaired and painted. I also have some areas where I removed the body side moldings that need repaired and painted. I'm kind of pissed about the side molding as I removed the small section on a front fender, cleaned off the dirt and adhesive residue and it looked great. After I removed the rest of the moldings and cleaned it up I found the doors had been repainted at some point and there was a paint line where they painted around the moldings. The color match is perfect but there is a small ridge around the outline of the molding. Very hard to detect visually but I know it is there and need to get it fixed.
Anyone have a paint shop in the Modesto/Turlock area they would recommend who could fix me up?

Have you checked with H&R in Turlock on golden state. They are not cheap, but they are pretty good. Service is really good too, in the area they are probably one of the best I know of.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've seen good reviews for H&R. I was also given a recommendation for Jester Auto Works in Turlock. Anyone have opinions or heard anything about them?

They are a smaller family owned operation. Actually a friend of mine used to be married to the daughter of the owner. I don't know much about them however. I do know H&R is good as I've hadn't work done there, and I'm pretty picky about who touches my cars.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I did go to H&R and yes they sure are pricey. But based on what I saw in the shop while I was there they do good work.

I checked with Cars Etc. also and had a nice chat with the owner Rigo who has a C5 himself. They appear to do quality work based on a couple of street rods that were in the shop while I was there. Very competitive pricing on their work also. Never even knew they were there before even though I own some industrial property just up the street from them. Right now I'm seriously considering having them do the work.

Awesome! I found a guy in Riverbank that does pretty good work to and is very well priced. He's a young guy but does good work. Had him install my wing and diffuser, and smoked all my lights. He also installed my exhaust.
