Chocolate Labs are pretty cool looking. They all are but Chocolates especially to me.

I have a Black and Yellow now and we had a Chocolate in the past.

My Daughter calls teh Black a "Crack Baby" due to its over playful nature.

Our black lab is 11 and slowing down. She gets wild spurts and goes nuts every once in a while.

Pretty dogs. Well, at least three of them are!

I'm not an expert on labs, but had the impression that you could get yellow, black or chocolate pups in any litter. Any of you with experience know whether that is the case?

I have a 2 year old Chocolate Lab. She's my security system and she's great with my grandkids and she is 94 lbs.

Not from any litter, here is how to predict the colors.

Interesting. It looks like you can get black, yellow and chocolate pups in the same litter, even if you breed a black with a black, but it depends on the genes the black dogs carry.

For instance, using the gene codes on the chart, breeding an "EeBb" with an "EeBb," would give you the possibility of pups in each of the colors.
