Patton "Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol."

I like them. I have M-O-P (Mother of Pearl) on all 6 of my Ruger Vaqueros. I get a lot of compliments on them.

I liked the combination with the polished look.. Those look good with any variation but I believe that they look best with polished nickel..

But his ivory handled Colts were somehow OK? He was a brilliant but odd man.

Nice.

You might want to get some plated grip screws or polish the current ones.

Perfect if you live in Miami and need to pistol whip a runner who doesn't bring back the money after moving the blow.

I'll probably get some polished ones if I can find someone who sells those.. Stainless ones should work too..

Just get some fine jeweler's paper and jeweler's rouge (or S100 total cycle finish restorer) on a cloth and polish them yourself.

It'll take several minutes.

Went to the range during my lunch break...

The RIA 1911 shoots phenomenal.. Started at 3 yards to see what kind of groupings I would get and the first 8 rounds were within 1 inch or so, causing 1 big hole on the target.. The gun shoots a little bit to the right but not by a lot. It was very accurate throughout all distances that I shot (shot up to 25 yards)

Aren't you concerned, I see a bug near the magazine release!

You may get some bug acid on the finish or they may eat up the plastic grips.

On a serious note: I'm sure the picture doesn't do it justice. They look very nice.

When you're done, line the screw heads up parallel to the length of the grips, while you're at it.

If you're going to go ****, go all the way.

J/K, nice gun.
