Default New Jason Statham Film Coming January 25th (TRAILER)

Click the image to open in full size.

Storyline:
A thief with a unique code of professional ethics is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead.
Assuming a new disguise and forming an unlikely alliance with a woman on the inside,
he looks to hijack the score of the crew's latest heist.

Stars:
Jason Statham, Jennifer Lopez and Michael Chiklis

Director: Taylor Hackford
Writers: John J. McLaughlin (screenplay), Donald E. Westlake (novel)

Rated "R" for strong violence, language throughout and brief sexual content/nudity.

This is the first film adaptation of a Richard Stark/Parker novel to use the character name Parker.
Author Donald E. Westlake (one of his pen names was Richard Stark) declined to allow use of
the Parker name, unless the filmmakers committed to a series.
Mr. Westlake passed away on December 31, 2008.

Looks good!
A good portion of this flick was shot right here in the Buckeye state.

Jason Statham is this generation's Steven Segal. Bad movies with even worse acting geared towards guys who demand nothing more than cheap entertainment and gags from their movies, and who also probably fall asleep during movies with any kind of depth or thought put behind them.

Stathom is a bad ***... and I like watch him exercise his skills, if it's surrounded by crappy dialog and script, who cares? I'm not likely to see 'em at the theater anyway.

Not surprising, since he's not an a real actor. He's just a thug who was found on the street.

How is he not a real actor, were you more in line with someone who sings, dances and does twirly loops into the splits or some sh*t like that? The guy plays a pretty decent bad azz

Sounds like just the movie “Payback” starring Mel Gibson except the main character was Porter not Parker.

He plays a decent badass because that's all he knows. He was discovered in a bar fight. He had no acting background.

I'd say it's a good movie but it's not in my top 25. It's better than any movie in which Jason Statham has starred, a few of which rank in the bottom 25.

How many action stars are really good actors? He does as good as just about any other leading actor in the genre and better than others.

I couldn't fall asleep in movies because of all the screaming children, crying babies, rambunctious teenagers, oblivious parents... not to mention the phones ringing and various beeps and buzzes and song clips constantly going off in theaters these days.

I'll just watch 'em at home, where I can sleep in peace.
