Default Little revenge for the neighbors barking dogs

After another day of all day barking by the neighbords dogs, 11am to 8 pm, I get a dog whistle. They bring the dogs in around 9 most nights. So about 9:30 I go in back yard and blow the whistle. Can here his dogs barking inside since his windows open, hear neighbor yell at them. About an hour later I do again. LOL this time he comes outside with flashlight looking around and asks me what I doing. I go in house. Again about 11:30 I do again he comes out I just say "you let your dogs bark all day" he says "I am just trying to be a good neighbor" WTH is being a good neighbor about letting your dogs bark all day every day?

So I don't get it. I figured he likes the sound of his dogs barking. Am I missing something?

He went to the neighbor behind me for sympathy that neighbor told him it didn't bother him or his dogs lol. He called my landlord who already knows the constant barking situtation me and him and I laugh. He wants me do a video to show police. Guess I have no choice now since city told me they will not do citations without video evidence. Which bothers me since not everyone has a computer and video camera to do stuff like that... so poor people have no recorse options.

Doesn't sound like he's a good neighbor to me - guess he now feels the same way you do when you have to listen to the dogs all day long.

revenge can be so sweet at times.

when we came home to visit the folks, wife and I stayed with her folks. a rural subd, neighbor across the creek/woods partied consistenty til 3-4am, loud music, etc. FIL went over and talked to the guy a couple times and the guy told my FIL to "f off". so I suggested that we go down in the woods at first lite with FIL's shotgun, pop a few rounds off, straight up. well, they partied very loud and late that nite. so we went down in the woods, Sat & Sunday morning, about 5:15 am or so. hid behind a couple big trees. popped off a couple and the guy come out on his deck, cussing like crazy. I kept interrupting his rant with another round. my FIL was laughing so much, he almost gave away our position.

anyway, they didn't party that late or loud after that. a couple years later, we moved back to town, and lived down the street from the late/loud guys BIL. one morning the late/loud guys wife is beating on our door, and yelling "let me in, he's going to kill me". well, she had gone to her bro's house and he was gone, so she came to my house. we let her in, she used the phone. somebody came and got her. the next day her husband, the late/loud guy was busted big time with a sh*t load of cocaine.

Set your clock or rig the whistle to blow each 30 minutes throughout the night.

Payback is hell but is a great teacher.

Why would you give yourself away like that? You could do that with the whistle till he goes nuts and he would never know what was happening.

Trick is to be consistent. Keep it up. Maybe a little at 3:30am

Back when I lived at home with the parents, 50 some year old couple bought a little 5 acre lot next to there house, put up a double wide with a fence and put barking dogs in the yard all day and night. It was so bad you could hear them all night from inside the house with the windows shut from across the pasture.

Well after college I stayed with the parents a few months until I found a place and the neighbors still hadn't done anything at all about the dogs. This was no our first run in with them, nor the only problem.

I would come home at 2-3 am a few nights a week and hear them barking, so I went out and did donuts on OUR property, but approximately 20 ft from there fence, with my glass packed V8 pickup for about 5-20 minutes (depending on the night) and really, really, REALLY get there dogs wound up going crazy until they took them inside the house. Then I'd just go home and go to bed. This went on a couple months until I moved out.

Don't know if it got our point across but it felt good!
