I know that this is not a corvette but check this out?
It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi oil billionaire (naturally).
Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque
0-100km/h in less than 2 secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs running on biofuel.
That is NOT stainless steel, people. It's WHITE GOLD!!

And....the white gold paint...are you kidding me? Its either polished stainless or chrome paint.
Why post this? I just don't get it...1600 hp would need a real chassis and tire to run under 7 sec 1/4...you know this...geez

Unreal....you, a CAR GUY, believe this total BS. YOU should know that a 4000lb mercedes COULD NOT EVER run a 6.89 sec 1/4 mile on anything like a street tire OR ANY TIRE EVERY MADE EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am from Abu Dhabi and this car is owned by one of royal family not oil billionaire. Oil is owned and controlled by government in UAE so no body can touch that.
Its a special ordered SLR from factory for the color but nothing else. Well you know if you got the enough money you can get anything.
