I have two cars that float my boat...
The Cobra below I built about 4-years ago. Sold it to get my '65 Vette.
The second car I love is the Ferrari 308. What can I say, I grew up in the 80's watching Magnum P.I.

a pantera, the best combination of detroit iron (the 351C) and the finest handleing of all the italian cars (ferrari included) i have a pantera, do a search. that 66 396 super sport comes second for me, especially with nascar suspension, thanks Smokey. a 360 horse engine (with mods) and a 4 speed. i had that SS396 from 71 to 85, i paid the outragious price of $1200 for it.

My boat is currently floated by this stylish Rat Pack ride, my loaded 1964 Buick Riviera that I have owned for about 10 years now:
But in the near (okay, distant) future I have become a bit obsessed with this bit of Italian Magnifico (Lamborghini 350GT, front engined V12):

I have always like the baby Birds (Thunderbirds) had a neighbor that used to let me drive his in the early 60s.
I realize this will be heresy to Ford people, and I do not know if this is reasonably economically done, but I have been thinking about this for quite a while.
Get a baby bird that is far from a collector status and fix it up as a restomod. Find one with a blown engine /tranny and put in a modern suspension/rear end system and a nice motor upgrade. If it would work out ok without a crazy money investment to make it fit a LS motor (LS3) with a 6spd manual.
I admit it’s only a dream and I really do not know if it’s possible, but maybe one of these days!
