Default 427 Shelby Cobra replica for sale or trade

Let me start by saying I don't want to part with this car by any means, and never intended to. My wife and I love classic cars, driving them and attending shows. However, we now have a child on the way and since we want to continue with our hobby we must have something with a backseat...a 2 seat convertible isn't going to cut it. Let me tell you about our Cobra....

This is a Shell Valley kit that was built in 2002 and currently has 6,100 miles on it. It has a 1967 428 FE running a QuickFuel carburetor mated to a Tremec TKO 600 transmission from Keisler Engineering with a 9" Ford Tru-Trac rear end from Strange Engineering. This is a high quality build using new parts instead of donor parts from 20+ year old cars. I'll let the pictures speak for the condition of the car but obviously it's in superb condition without any mechanical flaws. This Cobra runs extremely strong and sounds FANTASTIC!

If you have a muscle car from the 60's early 70's with a backseat I would be more than interested in trading for it since that's what I intend to spend the money on anyways.

My name is John and you can call or text me at 309-303-8142. $35,000 or trade.

Sweet AC Cobra tribute car especially with the big block Ford engine in it.

Seems like a very fair deal for someone, GLWS.

Too bad, been looking around to possibly trade my 98 Viper RT10 for a 427 Cobra.. But, clearly no back seat.

Nice Cobra

The OP said he was selling the car because there was a baby on the way.....The "baby" is about a year and a half old, by now!!

Only a couple of years late to the OP's thread, but must say it is a beauty. The AC Cobra, continuation, replica, etc is my most lusted after car. To the OP, I hope you and your growing family are happy and well.

Buy a Delorean, install a flux capacitor and set the date for August 2013, then go 88 MPH. Good luck!

He sold it and bought a '68 Mustang fastback project. I think he's pretty far along with it now.
