My favorite neo-muscle car. Fantastic looks, but too much weight. At least it will now have enough power to get out of its own way (if it can put the power down).

I suspect on a road course even with it's 200 HP advantage it would do nothing but stare at the Camaro Z-28 taillights …….

That's probably true. I had a hard time earlier this year keeping up with a '14 Camaro SS 1LE in my C5Z on street tires (first time at Mid-Ohio).

But I still like the Hellcat much better as a street car.

yeah……..and while the 1LE is sweet…..it 'aint no Z28' !!

But I still like the Hellcat much better as a street car.
having just seen it this past weekend while attending the races @ The Glen I agree !

Rumor has it the test car has already gone 11.16 at 130 MPH. But price rumor is $80,000+.

I would be shocked if it ran that on the 'stock tires', but on a well prepared track, perhaps …….. as for the price, SRT this past weekend wouldn't commit but 'hinted' @ 55-60k 'base'. Not sure what options would bring it over 80k but to me that's a real questionable price point for a 'Challenger' !
