2015 Mustang
#22
If I'm going to be completely honest, I'd have to say this...
The '15 Mustang will not compare to the chassis, suspension, drive train, interior and electronics, or the sports car "feel", and handling of the C7, or the C6.
That said, "cosmetically", it has the edge for me.
The roof line was taken right out of the C7 design pages.
The side view is sleeker and more pleasing to my eye, than the "edgy", and "angles" look of the C7, and the rear end is a more pleasing design than the C7.
If fact the only view of the C7 that I prefer is the front.
Now everyone is free to jump all over my ***, but that's my opinion.

I loved all the early muscle cars, including the ford mustang and owned a few Fords. The mid 60s to early 70s were good but since then the mustang has been the last on my list for looks. I do like the current Camaro and Challangers but ever since the late 70s, I have not looked twice at the Mustangs for some reason.
However, this 2015 GT is the first to at least peak my interest.
Especially now that Ford has finally done away with the solid rear axle.
I'd like to drive a '15 GT w/independent rear suspension, just to feel how it handles.

Ford Thunderbird
Ford made the Thunderbird in 55...very similar to the Vette but the changed it to a luxury model and then a econo...they finally laid it to rest. It's funny but I never consider buying a Mustang...when they came out in 63 they were warmed over Falcones... Just never got interested in them.

Whatever it is about LS motors (firing order, I've often heard) it can't compare to sound of Ford V8.
2013 Mustang GT w only Bassani axle - back > 2004 Vette w/ LG Long tube & GHL cat-back, sound-wise.
Fords just sound so much better and can't argue with a 420hp, 12.8 @ 112mph for $30k new. Sure, once ya gotta turn you're outta luck but ya can't have everything.

For all the haters, the Ford GT is probably the only car produced in the last 30 years that has actually appreciated in value.

Well; believe it or not! I actually owned a few FORD vehicles in the past (to include a 2013 GT500 which has a horrid clutch) and I got rid of all of them. They will never have the level of perfection/quality/design that I like in a car. The FORD GT was a nice attempt though.

agree or disagree? I'm waiting to see how the 2.3 Turbo 4 does.

And they don't handle (or stop) all that bad either, NOT in the Corvette's league in that department of course though the Boss 302 did very well.

Don't know why this was still disguised, I took this spy photo two weeks ago in downtown San Antonio. There were two cars constantly cruising the area. Perhaps some testing as it is hot and crappy roads... Pardon the poor phone pic.

I am not brand loyal.
To many nice options out there today (and in the muscle car era as well
)
