2015 Mustang
ok....so don't get me wrong, I am team chevy corvette all day, but I must admit that Ford has stepped up there game with the 2015 Mustang (still not better looking than the vette...but kudos!)

Why isn't this on OT or other cars?
I dunno how I feel about it. It's like they made it less "muscely" and more "generic sports car". It looks like a big FRS to me.

I've seen several "M" plated cars from the Flat Rock plant tooling around town lately. Yeah, does looks good, but won't be trading in my Corvette on one.

My abbreviation for FORD is Found On Road Dead. Owned a Ford several years ago, and it died within one year. I will never own another ford again. Also, in my opinion a "Mustang" doesn't scream sports car to me.

Love Mustangs and Corvettes and have owned both. While I like the way Ford is moving the Mustand forward I will still take the 2 door lightweight sports car over the pony. Finances mostly account for that nowadays. When I was younger and the wallet thinner( myself included) the Mustang was the car I purchased. Sports car trumps 2+2.
Looking forward to road tests of the Mustang.

The Mustangs are easily the best bang for the buck "performance" car.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Vette and all but between a 7 years old GM and a new Mustang GT for barely the same price, i would lean toward the GT.
Owned a Mustang GT for 7 years, it was never Found On Road Dead, my current Vette has cost me more in repairs in 3 months than my Mustang GT in 7 years.....not impressed at all by GM so far.

If I'm going to be completely honest, I'd have to say this...
The '15 Mustang will not compare to the chassis, suspension, drive train, interior and electronics, or the sports car "feel", and handling of the C7, or the C6.
That said, "cosmetically", it has the edge for me.
The roof line was taken right out of the C7 design pages.
The side view is sleeker and more pleasing to my eye, than the "edgy", and "angles" look of the C7, and the rear end is a more pleasing design than the C7.
If fact the only view of the C7 that I prefer is the front.
Now everyone is free to jump all over my ***, but that's my opinion.

Had a ford blow up in my own drive way in 1979. Only had 900 miles on it. No new engine, ford rebuilt and it never ran right. Longest six months I ever owned a car. Made a promise to myself to never own another ford. I keep my promises.

'Stang is good for what it is... a big pony-car. Comfy, fast in a straight line, reasonably easy to live with, cheap enough it's an alternative to a boring Camry or something.
Now, if Ford made a $50-60k sports car (2 seats, 50/50 weight distribution, etc) - what might that look like??

Well; believe it or not! I actually owned a few FORD vehicles in the past (to include a 2013 GT500 which has a horrid clutch) and I got rid of all of them. They will never have the level of perfection/quality/design that I like in a car. The FORD GT was a nice attempt though.
