Of course I think it's awesome if that we're to happen EXCEPT, only if the price would stay mid 50's for the base. And I'm sure that would not be able to happen with a mid engine AWD design. But if it did, count me in!

I like the idea. All Zora ever dreamed of and pushed GM for was a mid-engine Corvette. Would definitely purchase!

saw this a couple of days ago from Corvette blogger. Looks pretty cool i think, sure would be awesome if GM made this or similar. Tadge and his fine group hit it out the park with the C7, lets make it two for two

Quite the old thread, but I suppose the new rendering warrants an update. It looks like all the other renderings in that it definitely won't look like that (if they make it at all). It looks exactly like a C7 that had the cockpit shifted forward slightly. Still quite ugly imo.

I believe GM will build this car and it will be not only amazing for design but be on the cutting edge for engineering as well I am sure it will be wider and have a bit more space on the front side. I have driven both Ferraris and Lambos with V8 and V12 motors via mid engine and the sound is amazing! Thanks to our government it will also have to get very good gas mileage as well, something Tadge mentioned many times when the Z06 was introduced and as we owners have found out, it delivers. So, keep silent GM, we will wait for one of the most important cars in the American car history
