Alright guys, so as of late I've been driving around a 99 mercury cougar to and from school so I don't have to park the Z in the parking lot. It's not your average cougar though, this thing really hauls, and is quick to punish you for taking it too lightly. My issue is that I think I'm hearing some slight WOT detonation in second and third. No codes or anything, but when it's cool out it rarely makes this noise and the top end is a lot peppier. Does this sound like detonation to you?
