Something the C7 Z06 will have to avoid. 0-60 in 2.5s and 1/4 mile in 10.4s!

Wow. The new Lamborghini Huracán is stupid fast! 0-60 in 2.5s and passes the 1/4 mile in 10.4s. Though at a starting price of $241,945 it's quite a bit more over the Z.

AWD has its advantages.

Damn! Why would they step on the Aventador's toes like that? Crazy fast numbers for sure there

I know I'm going to come off like a hater but I'm definitely not. I love lambos but Im questioning that 135mph trap speed. No way that's accurate or duplicated. I'm interested to see the next few tests for this gallardo replacement.

Power/torque to weight on paper the Z06 should beat it from a roll especially if the A8 is a good performer.

Time will tell... I'm with you though. Seems awfully fast to me. Major press tune to the DCT and power train?

I'm hoping the z can pull on it from a roll. I have confidence the a8 can compete.

No idea, but that trap speed is definitely a red flag. Maybe underground kidnapped that lambo before the test lol

Apparently these things understeer pretty badly and their traction control can not be fully shut off. Also this review is the second one I've read where it began to overheat.

I'd say it was a souled up Lamborghini considering the factory says zero to sixty in 3.2 and that the factory had another one exactly like it ready on site....

I believe the tester took a dump for car and driver as per the article.

At a quarter of a million dollars it seemed to rape the similarly priced Ferrari 458 so it begs the question that this might have been a ringer...

I did the new Lamborghini but it does bake the aventador too...

Probably this thread belongs in the other car section.

That's fast heck 0-60 it's just as fast as the Veyron either way it's an awesome car.

Apparently Auto Bild did a test as well and came up with more reasonable times.. kind of.

0-100km/h(62mph): 2.9s

1/4 mile: 10.65s

You have to refigure using hp to weight! You can't just grab a formula! Redline is much higher and racing is above the TQ line. Plus why worry you will never see one on the road!

In my area I bet I will definitely see quite a few of these once they hit the streets. Not sure about OR or NJ

hp to weight ratio
C7 z06 = 0.1844494892
Huracan = 0.1758691207

Close..

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if the Corvette team were able to go and build a quarter million dollar car, they'd be able to make it go pretty fast too.

Comparison of completely different cars, AWD/Mid Engine/NA V10 vs RWD/Front Engine/Supercharged V8. Costs are totally different too.

That being said, even when taking cost into account, I'd have the Huracan.
