Update to this post - I may have to eat crow on this one. While I cannot confirm the discounts, I just went to cars.com and there ARE a lot of them in stock, including one at the dealer I have bought 17 cars from (six Corvettes). I may have to try to get up there and see what the interest level has been on the car.

U can't afford even one at that price. Hang it up Schindler ('s).. you're STILL not on the "LIST."

I'm betting those limited production Z28's will change hands for big money in 20 - 30 years. Mark my words!

I'm curious as to where that information is coming from. I honestly don't know, so I"m not calling you out, just curious. It is a very limited production car and usually there are enough rich car nuts who will buy something like that just to add to their collection. Collectors with money don't care if it's a stripped out Camaro or not, they just want it for collectabilty and bragging rights to their car buddies - especially when it starts winning all sorts of accolades.

Burning Brakes
Some retard putting on a Z28 for that amount doesn't mean anything. I can put up a Ford Pinto for $1,000,000 too.

Motortrend finally admits the NISMO and 91 octane:
The lackluster straight-line gravitas was most likely because of the 91 octane fuel we were forced to use; the Nismo is tuned for 93 and above.

With all due respect to the Z28, in about a year it will be as passé as a 2013 C6 ZR1 is right now, once the brand spankin' new generation Camaro is released.
