Hennessey just announced a 717 HP supercharged Mustang to compete with the Z06/ZR1 Corvettes and Dodge Hellcat.

Then I went to Dun & Bradstreet, the financial research firm, where for $117 I purchased a comprehensive report on Hennessey Motorsports. For comparison, I also purchased a report on the well-known Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. The report indicated that LPE was financially sound, with no liens, lawsuits, or judgments pending against it. In contrast, the Hennessey report revealed that courts have four times ruled against the company and that there are 10 lawsuits currently in various stages and three liens. The D&B report also provided a "Financial Stress National Percentile" rating, measured on a 1-to-100 scale, with 100 being the best possible score. Hennessey's company had a rating of one. (LPE had a 79.)

That article is 12 years old at this point...... Hennessey definitely burned some bridges back then but from everything I have seen as of late he has changed that around.

Hennessey is terrible. I've heard the same horror stories from different sources about those criminals. I will NEVER do business with Hennessey.

there are other tuners out there that can make cars as fast or faster than Hennessey, with a MUCH better reputation.. with that being said, why would you want to chance Hennessey..

Whoa...... I didn't for a second say that I have sent my car there or would. I simply said that the article was 12 years old and that I have not heard of him screwing anyone over in some time. I personally would not send my car there as I have a local shop where I know everybody at that is capable of producing the same kind of results.
