Chevy just made my choice of C7 Z, Viper, GT350, Z/28 much easier.

Good pick up and great deal!
I actually cross shopped the Z28 and the BMW M4 this past summer. I wanted a car that was track capable and a nice weekend cruiser. They were marking up the Z28 so much ( as much as $25K over sticker), I ended ordering an M4 exactly how I wanted and have been very happy with it (have to switch out tires and pads for track use though). I'm sure I would've been happy with the Z28 too.
How about the guys that paid almost $100k for the Z28? Now they're selling for almost half price six months later.

Great car, great price and great motor....I don't care what some say about the LS7, I think it's a kick *** motor!

Amazing cars, and the track capability is impossible to beat even at MSRP. But, for $54K new, you got a steal. You'll have to spend $90-100k on a new car to beat the Z28 around a road course.
I wouldn't mind having a white or gray one, myself.

So what's it like to drive? How does it compare to other cars you've owned? I love the current muscle cars, but the ZL1 does absolutely nothing for me. The Z28 just looks badass! Give us a review!

Sales Mgr gave me the "internet price," but said it didn't include freight (aka destination) charge. I didn't feel like dicking around and the price was still too good to pass up. I got an OK price on my trade, too.

Yup. It wasn't on showroom, but inside where they keep the other Corvettes. A guy came in about a half hour before me and apparently was FURIOUS that they wouldn't sell him the red car (my wife met me at dealer and she relayed this to me).

Were there people really that stupid? Anyone could have seen the writing on the wall. Same thing that will happen for people that pay more than MSRP for the Z06. Tossing money out the window.

There are a few here in DFW for around the same price point. Man, if only my garage were a little bigger and I didn't already have a '10 ZR1 set-up for track work, I'd buy the crap of the Z/28. I really like the concept and it's very well executed. Enjoy and don't forget to beat the **** out of it at the track.
