I don't know or care much for the gtr, so no opinion on that car. The Gen V Viper is very competitive with the C7Z, performance-wise, not obsolete at all. Sales-wise, not so much.

Judging how much their disciples have been working overtime around here!

For 2015, the price drops by $15,000, so the Viper is even more of a deal than before.

We should see some real banging this summer (The Ring is the natural place!?)!

Nothing even remotely obsolete about either of those. The Viper, especially in TA trim, remains one of the most track-focused production cars on the planet, while the GT-R is easily one of the most competent street cars with its combination of AWD and DCT, not to mention the capability for adding (and harnessing, more importantly) mega horsepower levels. The Z06 has high expectations riding on it and I do expect it to deliver on that promise, but the competition is alive and well. These are undoubtedly the best times to be a sports car fan.

The 991 upgrade was a real milestone event! Then there is the 458 Speciale. Is pretty crowded at the top!

Are we talking about the Viper TA that walked the Z06 or the Gen IV Viper that beat the ZR1 at the 'Ring by over seven seconds? I'm so confused.

So how were your driving experiences with all these cars you mention?, and I don't mean magazine quotes, and PS4.

This forum has gone to hell because of fanboys such as yourself, I'm done giving you want you want, which is a response others should do the same.

Which one! The same ZR1 could drag race or run the Ring very well. The Viper isn't dynamic enough due to its antiquated insufficient technology.

Don't feed the fanboy... doesn't the wing and disc loaded exhaust on the car in his avitar(I didn't know people actually bought that crap when it was out 15 years ago) tell you enough?

The GTR's all over the place as well! Let them make one car that can compete!

You have some information available that the rest of the sports car world is so anxious to hear? Or are you referring to the cars Corvette replaced with the actual car metioned above?

If you comparing those six figure $125,000-$150,000 cars to this under $80,000, yes I think that GM made them obsolete. Time for Datsun and Dodge to come out with a new model. Both manufactures are building way over priced cars that don't seem to even offer a realistic performance vs dollar value.

So the new Z06 gains 300+lbs over its predecessor and makes its competitors obsolete?

Seeing that you are on a Corvette forum your confusion is not surprising.

You can't beat NA reliable power. Especially from a 8.4 L V10. Laguna Seca, and Ring lap record holder. What ever happened to the C7Z ring times? BOOM.

Why would you start this thread? Was the troll vs fanboy thing dying down too much for you?
