For your info the Viper is manual also so there is no disadvantage for the vette here.Whats your logic behind making a statement like that?Both cars are on an even playing field.

Apparently the only time the Viper wins is when Nineball is driving. All other videos are of Vipers getting owned. Funny how the Texas crowd has the only Vipers that can pull a Z06.

drag racing just doesnt do much for me

10-12 seconds then wait in line 20 minutes or longer....

although cost is sure a hell of alot cheaper then tracking

Right up there with stop light to stop light. Which is gone with todays high power machines. Otherwise the 1/8-1/4 mile is bragging rights for traction contest. Hard on parts need special tires
to do it right.
When the side by side roll race really is the true test of the how fast a car is.

That time is being questioned. He picked up 7mph in trap speed with just drag radials. That is simply almost impossible. Something is boosting the power.

This is why roll racing is an accurate way to determine which car is faster.It takes the drivers equation out of it. NineBall has proven SO FAR that the Gen V Viper is faster compared to the Z06.

There is a video of the hellcat challenger running 10.80's@126 on drag radials which was posted a month ago. They actually struggled without the drag radials just like the rest of the super cars.

From what I read it was running 109oct fuel but according to the wright up no tune just DR and 109oct and well prepped track...either way even if it was tuned 10.4 at 133.5 mph with a 4400lbs car is amazing.
