Why do you say the TT V6 3.8 is a let down?

That's old school.

Mercedes has 4 bangers putting out more power than Gen 4 F bodies.

Please enlighten me.

AMG 2.0L turbo inline-4, Horsepower

New dream car...can't wait to get a poster for the garage....I don't care if it hurts my Vette's feelings...she'll suck it up or get replaced with one.

Engine is derived from Ecoboost Daytona Prototypes. An endurance racing winning engine.

People that don't follow racing, don't have a clue why Ford picked this powerplant.

GT version is going to have over 600whp from factory.

Any estimates on price? Will it be comparable with a new 911 Turbo S?

Holly sh t! That's a game changer...

Ford hit it out of the park with that car.....

World class best sports car and I'm not a ford guy.

I bet second or third generation will substitute a ecoboost flat plane crank v8 making over 800 hp....

I don't see any benefit to a German or Italian mid engine exotic when looking at this new ford GT.....

Wow!

So true, this is NOT the same Ecoboost six cylinder that goes in a Taurus.....

In over ten years I've not seen a car (outside the 3 Hypercars) that I would sell my '05 FGT for. I have now.

Wrong.

ACO and IMSA regulations for GTE/GTLM are online if you wish to read.

Turbo engines are allowed. Maximum displacement is 4.0L.

You can get Euro exotics, this one is going to be a limited production run with exclusivity beyond some Ferraris and McLaren.

Absolutely gorgeous ........... even without winning Lemans the car is already a winner

Most people who knock the TT V6 ecoboost have not owned one

Ironically, through a side view and looking at the rear quarter surrounding the rear wheel............. looks as if it was taken from a C5

The ecopoop had a condensation build up issue (maybe fixed by Ford now ?) in the intercooler under high boost, not something you want to experience say when trying to pass another car on a 2 lanes highway.

That condensation in the intercooler issue was caused by persons cleaning the engine bay and/or spraying high pressure water through the grille.

Even then all it took after a normal dry out time somewhat comparable to a GM wet MAF, was a computer reset.

Fair enough

I would think anywhere from 150 to 250 will be the pricing.
