For about $3500 you can purchase a tune from Blue Oval with intake and exhaust changes done at a Ford dealer that raises the power to 425 HP and still have some warranty left (there is some fine print regarding racing)

600 HP plus versions of these motors have been around for several years now and are doing very well for holding power and holding up.

BTW, I would not have this car if the Chevy dealer had not been so rude and arrogant when I went to them first to get one of the new LS3 Impala SS cars
