Expected result. The Viper is faster in a straight line and the z06 is faster in the twisties; as designed, old news. I still would rather have the Z, but I love both cars.

And of course the Viper trolls will come out of hiding now. The HP for HP I think it's been established that the Viper is faster in a straight line. Looks like the Z06 is going to need 70 -100 more whp to win roll race vs the Gen V Viper.

Good runs. That viper is likely a 135+ mph car in the 1/4 and the Vette held strong. No shame in that loss.

That Viper does look gorgeous.

That hasn't been proven yet, especially against a Time Attack 2.0 Viper. Put the Z07 tires on a T/A 2.0 and I think you would be in for an eye opener.

Valid point. Can't wait until we have proof. According to the Z guys that have tracked, the new Z is faster. Too bad videos won't really show it like with roll races. Either way, both cars are awesome.

You guys are hoping and wishing that the TA is as fast on a road course. 2:41 - 2:49 at VIR grand. The editors are not great drivers but not 10 seconds off the pace either.

Writing is on the wall in big fat letters. But you can stay in denial until that day comes.


TA 2.0 has a chance, but that's not what we are comparing here. TA 2.0 will not be as fast in a straight line as the TA 1.0 either. And the tire argument is what it is. Unless SRT decides to put MPSC 2 on the TA 2.0 or make them an option, if/whens are not going to count.
