Default An Interesting Comparison

Here is an article which starts out as a summary review of the new Lambo but at the end, brings up the compare of the new Z to it. I think it a valid compare noting that the cultural impact of the Lambo is greater but the performance of the two is roughly equal.

I post here instead of the C7 forum because those guys seem a bit angry about any and everything. Maybe a few of the less angry will drift in here and comment.

I agree the Corvette is not a Lambo because it is its own car in its own way with its own "American Sports Car" image. The Corvette also has a place to stow some luggage especially the coupe.

The article actually seems to prefer the Corvette over the Lambo unless you are in it strictly to impress other people. I have driven both and for a daily driver and road trip machine the Corvette is the best.

I love the Brit's dry humor.

It’s a heady mix of high-tech components like magnetorheological shock absorbers, thermoplastic body panels, and an aluminum space frame with some truck parts.

Yeah, it was written in a nice British key.

My take away was that the author felt the Lambo was well into diminishing returns - a rather obvious claim.

He didn't mention the obvious to me which is one in a Lambo would be considered, in almost all cases, quite pretentious while a Corvette is, well, at least less so.
