I bought this 1967 Olds on April 22, 1974 for $260. This is the day I bought it:

I still have it. Here's how it looks now:

First car was a 1974 Camaro with a healthy 350ci and a TH350 trans. It had fresh black paint over what I'm sure was some bondo. It looked good from 10 feet back and did smokey burnouts so I was a happy camper at 16 year's old!!!!!

As a 16 year old high school student, working p/t for SAAB/Land Rover dealer --
rebuilt a trashed '58 SAAB 93 --- like the photo except mine was red.

It's AWESOME that you still have your first car.

Mine was a 71 Buick Skylark 4 door. I paid 500 beans for it.

A 1969 VW Bettle, I spent more time scraping the frost off the inside of the windows than I did on the outside

Back in 1963 when I was 17 I bought a 59 Chevy 283 4 barrel with the rare 4 speed transmission. It was my first car and even then I was a gear head.

Won my share of street races on Central Avenue and had a good time for about 8 months. Then I hit an ice patch and totaled the car.

When I was 16, I bought a 1979 Chevy Monza 4 speed, 4 cylinder. Baby puke green with green interior. Wish I had a picture of it.

I had a 1968 Impala with the 327 as my first car. It didn't look nearly as nice . It was an LS that was in a barn. The guy had an SS as well that he wouldn't sell.

1983 Plymouth Reliant K-car.

It was every bit as terrible as you might think it to be.

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback. Cool little car. Heavy and dangerous on wet roads. It was a lot of fun though.
