No I think that one is already used up by the beating the GTR gave it, funny how people were saying it would beat the Laferrari, and P1 .
They have to resort to 1/4 times now, although the last excuses were that it wasn't a straight line car when viper whipped it.
These are the weather conditions where "hero runs " are made, I don't want to see these things run in 80 degree heat, I don't think they are going to fair well..
I guess the next excuse would be the figure 8 ?
The ZR1 is in no danger of being dethroned at this point IMO.

Regardless the C6Z kicked azz and took names when it was released, the ZR1 did it even better, the C7Z its getting its azz kicked and being hid in off topics.

I love that movie and have the ultimate edition , I have to watch it tonight after I'm done with tonight's random silicone enhanced bimbo.

The current fastest street legal 1/4 mile vehicle in this country is an S10...so...
Should the Hellcats straightline performance impress me more, or less than the ZR1's bone stock 7:19 on the Nurburgring? I don't see any trucks setting Nurburgring records.
One form takes a machine that can do many things well, the other can do one thing well. It's easier to achieve one main goal, versus a series of compromises to achieve one mission. Straight line performance will never impress me...nor will roll racing. That's like two enemy fighter planes facing off and saying...ok...you turn better, fly higher, have better weapons and are a better pilot, but I suck, have a horrible plane...but my sh*t is fast, so can we change the rules so my poor ability and my poor plane can have a chance to kill you?

That being said, I have not driven either(yet) and have owned a ZR1, I could care less about ring times, I think 99% of the people who talk about the ring are just cars and coffee guys who have never driven more than 45mph, that being said, I woukd take the Zr1 all day.
My ideal setup would be a hen 5 viper, which I am looking to buy now, and a charger hellcat everyday, I'm moving to vegas so I won't have to worry about snow.
